DAMAVAND, Tehran Province -- A group of cave explorers say they have found human skeletons belonging to cavemen in Iran Bastan Cave in the Lar area near Tehran.

Iran Climbing and Cave Exploration Group announced here on Sunday that they have discovered new labrynth connected to the main labrynth of Iran Bastan Cave during their weekend exploration. They said they have found piles of skeletons, three human skulls and two animal skulls dating back to pre-Islamic eras.

Iran Bastan Cave is located 75 kms north east of Tehran and was discovered last year.
