Ancient
Hill in Southwestern Iran Registered as National
Monument

KHORRAMABAD, Lorestan Province The
historical hill of Chogha Khandaq of Haj Khadijeh
in this southwestern city has been registered as a
national heritage site, Ali Sajjadi, the manager
of the Provincial Cultural Heritage Department
announced Sunday.
The
cultural-historical monument is located 5km to the
southeast of Khorramabad in Espestan region,
Sajjadi added.
He
concluded that this monument is related to the
Partian, Sasanid and the Islamic eras, ranging
between CE 11 and 12 centuries.
