34 Monuments in Sabzevar Registered as National Sites

SABZEVAR, Khorasan Province Head of Sabzevar Cultural Heritage Organization Reza Ebrahim said 34 monuments in that town have been registered as national sites.

Ebrahim said 17 historical and ancient monuments have been declared national sites over the four past years adding that there are many ancient monuments that could get nationalized in the region.

He went on to say that there are in exceed of 300 national structures in Sabzevar many of which date back to the prehistoric and pre-Islamic era.

Sabzevar is a city with 500,000 inhabitants that is situated est of Mashhad, capital of Iran's northeastern Province of Khorasan.
