TEHRAN
Official reports released on Wednesday announced
that some 30 stone inscriptions from the post-Sasanian era have been found in Nadoushan,
Yazd Province.
The
reports added that on these inscriptions, which
have been found in the mountains of this district,
the images of wild and tame animals such as sheep,
goats, horses, dogs, panthers, birds and caravans
of camels are depicted.
According
to the reports, a human being with a spear in his
hand and a sheep resting beside his feet is
depicted on one of the inscriptions.
The
General Manager of the Cultural Heritage
Organization of Yazd Province, Mohammad Hassan
Khademzadeh, also verified the reports.
In
the beginning of August, ten stone inscriptions
were excavated in Nadoushan that were determined
to be from the pre-Islamic eras.
