Discovered in Birjand

TEHRAN -- The Head of Physical Training Department
of Birjand, Seyed Mohammdreza Hosseini, said on
Wednesday that a cave had been discovered by the
mountaineers in Birjand. The cave is situated in
the southern part of Khorasan Province.
Hosseini added that the
16-member team discovered the cave on Monday near
the Minakhan Village 50 kilometers the east of
Birjand.
The head of Birjand
mountaineering team said that the cave has several
vertically downward bores, which are 20 meters
deep and placed near the cave's main opening.
He added that the cave's opening
is 3-meter wide and the cave is 75 meter long
