Daggers, stone dishes, golden furniture, gold and zinc door decorations, and gold and silver coins from the Achaemenid era are displayed in this museum.

The most prominent objects displayed at the museum are two plaques called Simin and Zarin which were discovered in 1913 in the Persepolis Complex and which had been kept at the Tehran National Museum Several statments of Dariush are inscribed on the plaques in ancient Persian cuneiform, Babylonian and Assyrian.
