The
second season of Archaeological studies and identification
research in the Chapan area of Dena, in Kohgilouye va Boyer Ahmad province, west of Iran, led to the discovery
of more than 10 historical sites.
During the one-month-long season, starting from 14th of
October 2003, more than 12 sites from the protohistory
time to the Islamic era, were discovered, announced head
of the Archaeological team Kourosh Alamdari.
The findings include historical buildings, historical
hills, cemetery, religious burial place and several other
historical sites.
