archeologists have managed to conduct DNA tests on skeletons
found in the ancient cemetery of the Azure Mosque of in the
northwestern city of Tabriz.
Genetic and archeological specialists from Tarbiat Moddares
University managed to conduct the DNA tests studies on about 44
pieces of human bones and skeletons dating back to 3,000 to
3,500 years ago which were discovered along with some swords,
crowns and ornaments, an academician told CHN.
He further said that molecular archeology studies on the remains
of the human bodies would shed more light on the circumstances
of their death.
