archeologists have managed to clear of rubble some 600 meters of
alleys and passageways in the Bam Citadel, which was almost
razed in a massive quake in last December.
“Over the past few months, we have scooped out ruins to make
more space near the bazaar and the main entrance,” announced
Iskandar Mokhtari, head of the salvage and renovation project.
