Geophysics studies will be carried out for the
fourth time in the historical site of Pasargadae with French and
Iranian experts cooperating.
The studies aim at the identification of the unknown monuments
of the site, said head of the research center of Pasargadae,
Mohammad Hassan Talebian. He added that despite the previous
research, many buried structures of the site were unknown, and
the existing information was limited to spots above the ground
level and therefore insufficient.
According to Talebian, the budget of the project is provided by
the French, in return for having full access to the results of
the studies.
Many features of the Achaemenian dwellings are still unknown,
warranting further work on the matter.
