structures in the central Iranian city of Isfahan. and a
major tourist attraction. Over the years, the penetrating
moist has affected part of it. To fix the damages in the
northern part of the Khajou Bridge, studies were carried
out and boring pits were dug resulting in the discovery of
the ramp used in the Safavid era, plus some foundation
remnants belonging to pre-Safavid era in the 15th century.

built in the Safavid era over the Zayandehrud river by
Shah-Abbas the Greats' Armenian chancellor Allahverdi-Khan
in 1659.
Built over a stone damn, based on the model of the
neighboring Siyose Pol bridge, it is 140 meters long, with
six half-octagon cubicles as one of its interesting
features, which were first decorated with mystic texts in
verse and prose, later with paintings added on them.
