Dinosaur Footprints Found in Kerman

Archaeologists have discovered the fossils of three dinosaur footprints related to the second geological period, Jurassic and Cretaceous (195 to 65 million years ago) in Kerman province, southeast Iran.

Experts have so far identified fossils of fish related to the first geological period, the Devonian (395 to 365 million years ago), fossils of dinosaurs related to the second period (195 to 65 million years ago) and fossils of mammals related to the third period (2 to 7 million years ago) in this area.
