Archaeologists have
discovered the fossils of three dinosaur footprints
related to the second geological period, Jurassic and
Cretaceous (195 to 65 million years ago) in Kerman
province, southeast Iran.
Experts have so far identified fossils of fish related to
the first geological period, the Devonian (395 to 365
million years ago), fossils of dinosaurs related to the
second period (195 to 65 million years ago) and fossils of
mammals related to the third period (2 to 7 million years
ago) in this area.
