The
archeologists discovered, following the examination of the structure of
the Arg-e-Bam in Iran, an unknown brick-shaped clay-wall in the south
fence of this monument.
The
Head of the Arg-e-Bam Rescue Project Eskandar Mokhtari highlighted this
piece of news, saying within the performed projects by the Arg-e-Bam
Archeology Team in the wake of the identification of the primitive
structure of the fence surrounding Arg-e-Bam, a brick-shaped clay-wall
with 45-90 centimeters thickness and 250 centimeters height was, during
two dowsing operations in two parts of the south fence as well as over the
hill's slope, identified on the skirt of the hill close to a ditch.
The archeologists say it is contingent this wall exists along the entire
fence and the Arg-e-Bam Archeology Team intends, through the permanence of
researching, to come by the primitive structure of this fence.
